Make Media Work for Everyone: Accessible Video and Audio in Canvas

01:00 pm - 02:00 pm

We'll start with a short overview of what the standards really mean for everyday teaching: when you need captions, when a transcript is enough, and how to handle highly visual or live content. Then we'll move into a guided demo and hands-on time, focusing on easy wins like checking and cleaning up captions, adding simple media descriptions, and creating usable transcripts for audio.

This session is designed for instructors of all comfort levels with technology - no accessibility expertise required. Register for the workshop.

The Center for Teaching and Learning enhances the learning and teaching environment at Georgia Tech by encouraging a fully engaged, sharing community with communication networks, resources, and innovative programs for faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students.
